migratory & upland bird hunting outfitter and tour
operator. One Last Cast Alaska, based in Wasilla
Alaska , offers single-day guided charters and
full-service multi-day trips that include meals,
lodging, guide, local transportation and all
equipment.
One Last Cast has been featured on Fox Sports,
Outdoor Life Network, and NBC. Most recently in
2004, One Last Cast filmed two 30 minute shows with
Larry Csonka, the host of Napa’s North to Alaska
show. Each summer One Last Cast works with NBC to
produce a weekly televised fishing report for the
south central region of Alaska.
PLANNING YOUR TRIP
Our guides ensure your trip is custom tailored to
your specific needs and desires. We provide a
timeline for you to plan around, and together we
decide on logistical and strategic details.
With One Last Cast any fishing, hunting or wildlife
viewing idea is possible. We modify excursions to
accommodate individual needs on a regular basis. If
your desire is to do more sight seeing than fishing
we can make it happen. Some activities may require
us to add additional charges to the standard trip
package price, but you will be notified of any such
charges before plans are finalized.

FISH
PROCESSING
One Last Cast will clean and fillet your catch for
you. We can arrange special packaging and shipping
or additional processing services such as smoking
for an additional charge. If you choose to ship your
fresh catch back home, One Last Cast will assist you
with arrangements for you, so that you can enjoy
your time in Alaska and not have to worry about your
fish.
You are allowed to bring your catch in a box to the
airport for free. You do not have to pay for your
extra box if you are under the baggage limit 2
pieces weighing 50 lbs or less. All wild game birds
will be plucked, singed, cleaned, washed and vacuum
packed for you as part of our service.

and digital photo service.
Included in overnight and multi-day excursions are
the items listed above plus: local transportation in
Alaska, all meals & snacks, lodging, all related

FISH AND GAME
PROCESSING
One Last Cast will clean and fillet your catch for
you. We can arrange special packaging and shipping

fresh catch back home, One Last Cast will assist you
with making arrangements.
THINGS YOU NEED
TO PROVIDE
Fishing or Hunting license for half-day or full-day
trips, sun block, neoprene or Gortex waders, light
rain gear, warm clothes, sun glasses, shipping of
fish or game.
FISHING TACKLE
One Last Cast provides all of your fishing
equipment, including poles, tackle. Some guests
choose to bring their own rods, reels and waders if
they have them. You are encouraged to bring your own
equipment, but make sure it is strong enough to
endure the Alaskan outdoors!
We use only the finest in fishing equipment
including products from: Shimano, GLoomis, Sage, St.
Croix, OKUMA, Lamiglass, Storm, Mepps and Blue Fox.
BOATS & BOATING
Our boats are comfortable luxury aluminum Jet boats
and Air boats with cushion seats, heat, enclosed
cabins and rod holders. Our Jet boats cruise at
55mph, have a cover for wet or cold weather, are
heated, and are powered by 310HP inboard Chevy 350
engines. Our Air boats are built by Alaska Airboats
and are designed to take you places no prop or jet
boat can go. Our Air boats cruise at 45mph and are
powered by powerful 425HP 496 engines. All boats are
equipped with emergency locator beacons, cellular
phone, satellite phone and a VHF radio.

CREDENTIALS
All One Last Cast guides are Coast Guard licensed,
bonded and insured by Charter Lakes Insurance, Inc.
Every guide is a master fisherman with a minimum of
10 years of experience operating vessels on Alaskan
waters. All guides are CPR/First Aid certified.
GRATUITIES
Gratuities (tips) are not included in the price of
any package listed above. Standard gratuity is 15%
of the cost of your trip.
